Beach Treats

Beach Treats

Recently I have gone to a summer camp at the Wave House in Mission Beach San Diego, California and it is connected to a little shop called Beach Treats. Beach Treats is a small tropical ice cream shack right by the beach and it super convenient for people at the beach, but parking can be tough. You can order from the window on the Wave  House side or from the counter on the Beach side. They have lots of ice cream, icees,  frozen cheese cake dipped in chocolate, funnel cake, shaved ice, and cotton candy. Keep in mined that the portions are huge, so if you can't eat a lot  share your order with someone else. Just remember that on hot days Beach Treats gets pretty busy but it will always stay efficient. I can't wait for my next visit to beach treats.

Kojack's

Kojack's

Kojack's is a family run Greek restaurant in Pacific Beach, California. The full address is 714 Ventura Place Mission Beach San Diego, California 92109, and the phone # is (858) 488-5647. They have a friendly beach atmosphere, you can do sit down or take out, and the service is fast. Patrons can sit at the counter and watch the food being prepared. My Father and I ordered the gyro and the falafel we decided that the gyro was better. The food had lots of flavor, it was not too spicy, and it was cooked just right. For kids this is a great place to take them and there is a kids menu for them. I highly recommend this place for casual dinning experience.

Sprouts Pizza

Sprouts Pizzas

The pizzas at sprouts are good but they are such a pain to get on the pan. They the reason why everything is so sticky is because they didn't put enough flour on it. When I put the flour on it had to be folded, and when it was done it tasted under cooked. So one tip, don't get pizza from Sprouts Supermarket.

Pizza Stone

Pizza Stone

The pizza stone is a ceramic disc, that is kitchen tool to make pizzas crispier.  I purchased mine on http://www.costco.com/home.aspx.  It cost $46.50, included with the purchase was an oven mitt, and a giant pizza spatula. I think it works great and the crispiness in the pizza is prefect! So get the pizza stone today.

The Brick Pit

The Brick Pit is a Southern BBQ place in Mobile, Alabama. The precise location is 5456, Old Shell Road, Mobile, Alabama 36608.  They serve mouth watering and tasty food (pork & chicken). The amazing BBQ sauce was a little spicy, tangy, and fresh. The big sandwich is not the biggest, but it is amazing!!!!! The service was friendly and fast. The decor was casual, kid friendly with lots of posters, photos, and writing on the walls. The whole place smelled like smokey BBQ on the grill.

Five Star Grill

Five Star Grill

Don't fall for the name of the restaurant it is a Chinese restaurant and a grill in Belmont Park in Mission Beach, San Diego, California. It tastes like it is three stars rather than five. I ordered a cheeseburger with mayo and lettuce, and they gave me a burger with mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and tomatoes. The onion rings and the teriyaki bowl were flavorless. My advice is don't go there.
